Upcoming Webinar: Lead Poisoning and its Devastating Impacts on Early Childhood Development

About the Event: Over 800 million children globally are affected by lead, with the majority residing in low and middle-come countries. Lead poisoning links to heart and kidney disorders, impaired intelligence, violent behavior and premature death. However, lead poisoning is entirely preventable. ARNEC is pleased to host a webinar amplifying the important linkage of early childhood development (ECD) and climate/environmental factors with a specific focus on how the heavy metal – lead – from common household items is posing a threat to health. This webinar will discuss the dangers of lead poisoning and what we do to protect ourselves and our children. It will also highlight specific country-level examples.
